A knife raised against twin suns. Fresh off of completing his Star Wars battle series, Jack Gregory is back with new The Dark Crystal prints for Bottleneck Gallery. The artwork builds the whole uneasy world of the film into one dense poster image, with Jen and Kira centered in the foreground while a looming Skeksis crowds in behind them. The circular gold framing gives it a storybook-meets-prophecy feel, and the two versions shift the mood nicely, one leaning deep violet and magenta, the other burning hotter with amber and orange light from the giant sun behind the Skeksis. Regular screen prints and variant acrylic panel editions go on sale this afternoon, July 30 at 12 PM Eastern.
