Star Wars: The Phantom Menace by Hugh Fleming

Padmé’s red throne-room gown stands right at the center of Hugh Fleming’s new Phantom Menace print, anchoring a packed collage that stretches from Tatooine to the blue-black space above. Around her Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan loom large, a young Anakin and Queen Amidala sit opposite each other, Darth Maul hangs back in the shadows, while the support characters are worked into the edges without the piece feeling cluttered. It has that classic painted-adventure-poster approach, but with enough Phantom Menace details to make it more than a nostalgia recap. Bottleneck Gallery is releasing Fleming’s Star Wars: The Phantom Menace print today, with regular and foil screen prints available alongside acrylic panels. This looks to be the start of a new series with Fleming and we’re excited to see the rest of the trilogy play out.
