Nakatomi Inc is celebrating 55 years of the popular Japanese series Ultraman with new artwork by Tom Whalen and Alex Ross. Ultraman’s first appearance was made on TV, today, in 1966. Tom Whalen has two pieces for the anniversary, a regular and variant. The regular print ($50) is a 20″ x 30″ timed release print. It will be available from today at 3PM EST till Tuesday July 13th at 11PM EST. The silver foil variant ($100) is also 20″ x 30″ but will only have an edition of 66. Both versions are hand numbered and embossed. The print by Alex Ross shows some classic Ultraman artwork recreated from the original art board. This print will be available in two sizes. The 18″ x 24″ ($60) giclée will have an edition of 250. The Ultra-Sized 24″ x 36″ ($150) print will only have an edition of 66. All prints go on sale today at 3PM EST on the Nakatomi Inc.
