Yesterday Mutant quietly dropped artwork for the Netflix film The Imaginary. You immediately notice the likeness to Studio Ghibli films and that should come as no surprise as the team who created The Imaginary (Studio Ponoc) was formed by the former Ghibli producer, Yoshiaki Nishimura. The film centers around an imaginary boy who will disappear if the one who imagined him forgets about him. The stellar artwork for the drop was done by none other than Tom Whalen, who has a knack for creating fantastic movie posters of animated films. At time of posting there are still copies available on the Mutant website.
