New Year, New Look, New Approach

Happy Holidays! As we approach the New Year, we reflect on our journey with alternative movie posters, a passion that has been at the heart of our website for almost three years. With over 1000 posts and numerous social media updates, we’ve explored a wide range of artwork, from gig art and collectables to pop culture pieces. Initially, our focus was solely on alternative movie posters and related sites, but over time, our interests diversified, including smaller artworks, pop culture prints and items not strictly related to movie and video game posters.

However, we’ve realized it’s time to return to our roots. Starting in January, our content will exclusively feature alternative movie posters and video game-related artwork. Video games, with their rich narratives, audiovisual appeal, and character development, share many parallels with movies and hold a special place in our hearts. This means we’ll no longer cover gig or music-related art, collectibles, pins, or unrelated original art. Though we appreciate these forms, our primary love lies in the realm of movie and game artwork.

We’re excited to refocus and enhance our alternative movie poster and video game content. For instance, we recently featured Jake Kontou’s stunning Ghost of Tsushima piece, and we plan to showcase more artwork in this manner, with a more in-depth assessment. Additionally, we’ll be revitalizing our shop with more frequent updates and launching monthly contests to give back to our followers.

In 2024, while the essence of our content remains centered around film and game art, our approach will be more streamlined and specific. We’re thrilled about the future and eager to share our refined focus with you. Here’s to a fantastic 2024 and a Happy New Year to all!
