On Thursday Mad Duck Posters drops new artwork from Paul Mann for The Silence of the Lambs. We heard about this poster way back in July and we were excited about the possibilities, needless to say, Mann does not disappoint. The print will drop in two versions and while the artwork is identical, the prints have completely different title blocks. While the purple, regular version lays out the title similarly to the original theatrical print, it’s the variant that matches the actual font. I gotta say, the variant, with its black and white lines is a thing of beauty and Mad Duck notes that this design was created by Saniose. Though the purple version does remind us of a certain Vertigo print that Mann debuted with Spoke-Art all the way back in November of 2021. We’re still waiting to get our hands on that one, hopefully some time in 2022. Tomorrow’s drop will also have very limited quantities of foil versions of each print available.
