Thursday is usually a good day for alternative movie posters and we get a couple of good ones today from Bottleneck Gallery, Matt Ferguson and Casey Booth. Ferguson is dropping artwork from The Crow. We’ve seen a recent uptick in prints from this film as of late and you’ll recall Ferguson did some other Crow artwork back in March of last year that we thought was great. This piece was actually conceived about 10 years ago for a screening of the film. At the time it was an A3 sized print with a small run. Now the artwork has been resurrected with some minor updates and screen printed in a larger size. It looks awesome and we love the simplicity of the piece. It will release as both a screen print and acrylic panel.
The other drop comes courtesy of Casey Booth, who has created Gremlins artwork as a comic book cover. Absolutely love the look of this one, wish some credits could have been worked into the piece, but it looks stellar none the less. Great colors too and this one will be screen printed as well. These will both go on sale today at 12PM ET on the Bottleneck Gallery website.
