Everyone’s favorite Kaiju, Godzilla, turns 67 today Mondo has a bonafide Godzillafest planned to celebrate. In addition to brand new Godzilla Museum scale figure and new vinyl for The Return of Godzilla, Mondo is dropping fresh Godzilla prints from Florian Bertmer and Tom Whalen.
First up is Bertmer’s print from Shin Godzilla, released back in 2016, it was the 3rd reboot of the franchise, produced by Toho pictures. The print by Bertmer is 36″ x 24″ and will have an edition of 220. The cost is $60. The other print dropping tomorrow is Godzilla vs. Hedorah from Tom Whalen. Whalen has been working on Godzilla posters pretty consistently and they are among our favorite works of his. Needless to say we’ll be among the may trying to snag one of these today. Tom’s print is 24″ x 36″ and will drop in two different versions, with different artwork. The regular version will have an edition of 220 and cost $55. The variant will have an edition of 120 and cost $75. All this Godzilla goodness goes on sale today, November 3rd, at 12PM EST. Posters will drop at 2PM EST on Mondo’s Drop.
