Halloween is right around the corner and Vice Press is dropping new artwork from Matt Ferguson featuring Michael Myers. This will actually be Vice Press’s first print from John Carpenter’s Halloween and they are certainty doing this one right as the artwork from Furgeson looks downright gangbusters. Furgeson has just been killin’ it as of late, the man must be extremely busy releasing incredible prints one after another… It’s quite amazing.
This new print follows the same look and style of the other Carpenter films he has done in the past, including: They Live, The Fog, Prince of Darkness and Escape from New York. It’s a great look and works well for this film. The print will be available in three different versions. The regular and variant versions are 24″ x 36″, with the regular version having an edition of 350 and costing about $60. The variant will have a run of 250 and cost approximately $67. Finally an open edition A2 size print will be released as well. There is no timetable on these and they will be available going forward along with the other prints in this style mentioned above. It will cost about $40. In addition there are some Halloween themed pins dropping from Florey, and it looks like a THING version of this print is coming soon too!
