Bottleneck Gallery is back with more Cookie Monster Kaiju this Friday. The amazing Cookiezilla by Gabriel Marquez is back for another release. I was sad to hear about Gabriel’s recent passing, but hopefully his spirit lives on through his work and those he knew. He was quite the sculptor and his work will surely be missed.
The original run of 400 blue regular and 100 red variant Cookiezilla’s went insanely fast and version 2 release will no doubt meet the same demand. The 11.25″ hand-painted, resin figure is among our favorite collectables that have been released in the last couple years. Blending our love for cookies, puppets and classic Japanese cinema, this is one collectable that we hold in high regard. While the very limited red variant is nice, the blue version, matching Cookie Monster and Grover’s color, is phenomenal. Bottleneck has said this release is limited to replacements that were damaged in transit during the original release, so if you missed the original release, this is your chance to snag one. The blue guy goes on sale tomorrow at Noon EST on the BNG homepage.
