We still love our video games around here and tomorrow Jake Kontou and Apollo Gallery have teamed up for a new set of officially licensed screen prints celebrating Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater, the newly released remake of one of the most influential entries in the Metal Gear franchise. Kontou’s work brings together the game’s Cold War-era jungle setting and iconic cast in a tightly constructed design centered around Snake and the unmistakable exclamation mark—an unmistakable callback for longtime fans of the series.
The remake, which was just released, has already generated praise for its visual overhaul and fidelity to the original. The game itself is often considered one of the best in the series, hovering at the top across both Metacritic and OpenCritic rankings and the remake appears poised to carry that legacy forward.
Three versions of the poster are dropping: a timed regular edition, a limited Master edition and a gold variant featuring metallic gold detailing over the title and “!“. These go up for preorder Thursday, August 28th at 12PM ET via ApolloGallery.com. So glad Apollo Gallery keeps releasing these fantastic video game inspired prints, kudos to them.
