This afternoon the Moor-Art Gallery revisits one of gaming’s most iconic titles with a new print by Sam Gilbey for Metal Gear Solid. Gilbey’s artwork pays homage to the PlayStation classic with a composition that mirrors the scope of the game itself. Solid Snake front and center, surrounded by allies and enemies that defined the 1998 release. Characters like Ocelot, Sniper Wolf, Psycho Mantis, and Liquid Snake are all represented, with Metal Gear REX looming below. Great composition that has a cinematic feel similar to Hideo Kojima’s masterpiece. Metal Gear Solid by Sam Gilbey will be available this afternoon at 1PM ET via the Moor-Art Gallery.
