On Tuesday, the Moor-Art Gallery teams up with Royalson to create some throwback Transformers artwork in the vein of old VHS box covers. VHS tapes fell out of favor once optical format DVDs started to gain popularity. We actually just picked up a box of old VHS tapes as my childhood home was getting cleaned out recently and we’ve been searching for a working VHS player to watch them. What a cool idea for this release from Royalston. Some of the main characters from the Transformers get unique box cover artwork designed to look like or inspired by their look. This release will be offered in a variety of different sizes, with a double sided full size print and then 8″ x 10″ prints sold in sets and individually. Details are below, these go on sale today at 1PM EST on the Moor-Art Galley website.
