Thursday Vice Press is set to release a collection of alternative movie posters from their recent Open House Mini Con. Each piece, crafted by notable artists Doaly, Dave O’Flanagan, Hannah Gillingham, and Andrew Swainson, brings a unique vision to the films they represent, offering a variety of artwork for this drop.
Starting with “Back to the Future,” artist Doaly presents a vibrant depiction of the iconic DeLorean, charged with electricity and motion, reflecting the film’s dynamic time-travel theme. The use of bold colors and sharp lines draws the viewer into the high-energy world of Marty McFly’s adventures.
Next, Dave O’Flanagan tackles “Blade Runner 2049” with a moody and atmospheric piece that encapsulates the neo-noir aesthetic of the movie. His artwork, with its deep blues and hints of neon, perfectly mirrors the film’s haunting exploration of identity and reality in a dystopian future.
Jurassic Park, brought to artistic life by Andrew Swainson, features the terrifying beauty of the film’s dinosaurs. Swainson’s piece is a thrilling portrayal of the iconic T-Rex chase scene, rendered in rich, dark tones that underscore the suspense and excitement that have defined the franchise.
Finally, Hannah Gillingham’s “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World” captures the quirky, energetic spirit of the film with a vibrant and comic-inspired design. This piece pulsates with the youthful vibrancy and eclectic style of the movie. In addition to these releases there will also be a new A2 editions release of Luke Preece’s most recent Jaws artwork that was released back in January. These artworks are set to be released on June 13th at 1PM EST, exclusively through Vice Press. Costs and edition sizes are below.
