Vice Press and Bottleneck Gallery team up on Thursday to drop new versions of Drew Struzan‘s classic artwork for the John Carpenter 1982 classic sci-fi/horror, The Thing. There have been many releases of this artwork over the years, including art prints and lenticular editions, but these are the first time original one sheet sized prints and multi-layer acrylics have been offered. Vice Press creator, Matt Ferguson has heavily involved with the remastering of the artwork for this release. We gotta say, we have seen numerous multi-layer acrylics, but this one seems to really put the medium to good use and it looks better than a lot of the others we have seen released. The Thing artwork drops today at 1PM ET on the Vice Press website.
