Vice Press and co-founder Matt Ferguson have new The Thing posters dropping tomorrow. Ferguson has been working on artwork for all of John Carpenter’s films and producing prints based on the films to create his Editions Series. These prints are based on Studio Canal’s 4K Carpenter collection which recently added Halloween and will soon be adding The Thing. The new artwork will get the full size 24″ x 36″ treatment and be available as a timed release and variant edition. The timed release print will cost about $60 and will be on sale through Midnight, December 12th. In addition to the timed regular version there will also be a Lava Foil Variant. This one will have an edition of 300 and will cost about $72. As has been the case with the other prints in the Carpenter Editions Series, an open edition A2 (16.5″ x 23.4″) print will also be available. It’s identical to the regular, timed print, just a bit smaller. This one will cost about $40 and will be available going forward. All 3 prints will be available tomorrow, Tuesday December 7th at 1PM EST on the Vice Press homepage.
