Next week The Thing celebrates its 40th anniversary and Vice Press is marking the occasion by releasing the original theatrical artwork by Drew Struzan as two different prints. The Thing is classic John Carpenter horror and this iconic artwork from the master illustrator Struzan, always shines. Last year Vice Press and BNG released the lenticular version, which we a big fans of. For tomorrow’s release Vice Press will be dropping the 24″ x 36″ regular print as a timed release. The print will be available for 7 days, through the official anniversary, till next Tuesday, June 28th at 1PM and will cost around $85. The other drop will be a foil variant art print version of the artwork. It will have an edition of 250 and cost about $98. These are printed by End Hymns, with an assist by Sep Lab, and go on sale tomorrow at 1PM EST on the Vice Press website.
