Thursday we get (what has become a rare occurrence) a Mondo poster drop, this one for The Matrix. Concept artist John Powell provides the artwork for this release. Powell works for Sucker Punch Productions, they create AAA Playstation games like Ghosts of Tsushima, for which Powell created stunning concept art. Tsushima is an excellent game that we absolutely loved and so much of that is due to the setting and artwork design from Powell. Has to be some of the best environments in a game in our opinion. Powell’s alternative movie poster artwork for The Matrix gives a fresh take on the sci-fi classic and this one will be available in a regular and variant edition. Have to say I prefer the variant colorway, which probably should have been the regular edition, but what do I know. These go on sale tomorrow at 12PM EST on the Drop, with cost and edition sizes below.
