The first of at least two Lord of the Rings drops this week is happening today as Theodora Daniela Capăt returns to Bottleneck Gallery to drop artwork for the second film in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Two Towers. Capǎt is a ridiculously talented artist whose forte is creating phenomenal artwork via the brush. The artwork for the first film dropped back in 2023, so this second piece has been in the works for some time. Capǎt posted a time-lapse of the new piece and when you see process media like this, you can really appreciate the time and energy that artists pour into their work. As mentioned, this is the first of two LOTR drops happening this week. The other is from Mondo, who is also dropping some timed edition Rings artwork by Riccardo Federici that looks equally impressive. Capǎt’s work is on sale today and will drop in both screen prints and acrylic panels when they go live on Bottleneck’s site at 12PM.
