It’s been a quiet couple of weeks, but with Star Wars day coming up, we’re bound to see some big releases. Bottleneck Gallery just could not wait for May 4th to kick off their Star Wars drops and when you have a collection of artwork this great to set to release, you can’t blame them for not being able to hold back. Mark Englert, Kevin Wilson and Pablo Olivera all take part in the Tuesday releases with artwork from the original trilogy along with the Mandalorian. Englert’s print is yet another in his ongoing Mandalorian series. “I will teach you to protect yourself” is a 36″ x 12″ timed release. It will cost $65.
Kevin Wilson brings some stunning new prints from Episode IV, V and VI. His artwork really nails the look from each of the films, showcasing some of the arguably most important characters from each film. His artwork of Luke Skywalker, Yoda and Darth Vader are all 12″ x 24″, with both color and black & white variants dropping. The color versions will be a timed edition as well, costing $45 each, with a set running $130. The variants will have editions of 150 and cost $60 each. A set can be picked up for $160.
The final piece of artwork comes from Pablo Olivera. Olivera’s work always mesmerizes as he creates some really detailed, colorful artwork. He is dropping a ridiculously dope print from The Mandalorain, titled the Gunslinger. His artwork will not only be available as an 18″ x 24″ Giclee print, but it will also be releasing as a 3D Lenticular 1mm PET print. The regular print is $50 and will have an edition fo 200. The lenticular version if $65 and will have an edition of 125. The force is strong with this drop and the timed release prints will be on sale through Noon on May 4th. All prints on sale at Noon EST, Tuesday, May 3rd.
