Star Trek V: The Final Frontier by Bob Peak

Vice Press continues its run of nostalgic sci-fi prints with a remastered take on Bob Peak’s classic artwork for Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, available starting May 6th at 1PM ET. The new edition has been carefully restored by Matt Ferguson, preserving Peak’s vibrant, stylized vision while enhancing the image for today’s release.
Star Trek V, released in 1989 was directed by William Shatner. Shatner, who played Captain James T. Kirk, was given the opportunity to direct following the success of Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, which was directed by Leonard Nimoy. While the film received a mixed response upon release, its visuals and central performances have gained appreciation over time—making this artwork a fitting tribute to one of the franchise’s more daring entries.

Two editions of the poster are available: a standard version and a foil variant, both featuring the bold color gradients and dynamic composition that defined Peak’s original work. This drop is part of Vice Press’s ongoing celebration of the iconic science fiction series and film.
