Spider-Man: No Way Home by Dan Mumford

Bottleneck Gallery gets into the multiverse chaos on Thursday, July 16th at 12:00PM with a new Spider-Man: No Way Home print from Dan Mumford, and it really does feel like every corner of the frame is seconds away from collapsing into the next fight. The color work is especially good here, with Mumford leaning hard into hot reds, oranges, and electric blues against a dark steel framework, which gives the whole thing that overloaded end-of-the-world energy the movie’s final act runs on. It’s a busy composition, but not a messy one; your eye keeps getting pulled from character to character and then right back into that central explosion. As usual with Mumford, the linework is sharp and the palette does a lot of the storytelling. Bottleneck will have the print available in three editions, including a variant and a foil variant, when they go on sale today at 12PM ET.
