May the 4th is upon us. To be honest we were expecting more Star Wars related releases this year, but with Mondo a former shell of itself in terms of poster releases and not many other shops doing new drops, there doesn’t seem to be much happening. We usually get some surprise drops, so we’ll see what happens this year. What we are getting is absolute fire and makes up for the dearth of other May the 4th releases. Matt Ferguson, alternative movie poster extraordinaire drops Return of the Jedi – 40th Anniversary artwork that you must have seen by now. It’s been all over the place, social media, movie theatres, Disney+, and rightly so. It’s stellar work and the follow up to his Empire Strikes Back 40th Anniversary print from 2020, which was actually our first BNG pickup. Return of the Jedi will drop as 4 versions, two colored timed and two, more black and white editions. All of the prints will be available on the BNG website tomorrow at 12PM EST. The timed editions will be on sale through Sunday May 7th at 11:59PM EST.
