Paul Mann and Spoke Art have been releasing some fantastic throwback alternative movie posters for some of Alfred Hitchcocks classic suspense films over the last couple of years. And while we have received some great AMPs for some great films including, The Birds, Vertigo and North by Northwest (can’t forget the Rear Window print that was dropped from Mad Duck posters, that variant is a thing if beauty), Spoke Art and Mann are finally releasing what is arguably his most famous film, “Psycho“. The film was a standout for it’s time in the horror genre and was a substantial success at the box office, which was helped by its modest budget. Initially releasing alongside a showing of the film at the Roxie theatre, Mann has done some great work on these and the black and white variant has to be our favorite Mann / Hitchcock poster so far, due to the film and the gorgeous black and white color which matches the presentation of the film. If you want to snag one of these, they won’t be cheap and the quantities will be less than what is below do to the screening of the film and pre-sales which made copies of the print available before today. These go on sale later today, at 1PM EST on the Spoke Art website.
