Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror by Peter Strain

Finally, we get some alternative movie posters this week with Bottleneck Gallery dropping new artwork from the film Nosferatu: A symphony of Horror. Peter Strain has provided some excellent artwork for the release based on the 1922 original by F.W. Murnau. The film was based off of Bram Stoker’s Dracula novel, but had enough differences to become something of it’s own and is an iconic film 100 years later. The use of negative space in the artwork with all the rats is exquisite and reminds us of Jonathan Burton’s Invisible Man from 2018. This artwork sets itself apart with extra detail in the negative space, almost like Nosferatu coming out of the shadows, it looks fantastic. These will drop in screen print and acrylic editions and will be on sale today at 12PM ET.
