Bottleneck Gallery is back with another movie themed release, this time spotlighting the vertical magic of artist Ben Harman, who continues his masterful series of Disney prints with new pieces from Moana and Cars.
Ben Harman has carved out a distinctive niche in the world of alternative movie posters with his vertically themed compositions, which cleverly use height and symmetry to tell a complete visual story from top to bottom. His work frequently reimagines beloved Disney properties with a fairytale quality and a sense of grandeur.
This new set includes two Moana-themed prints—day and night variations—that feature the duality of Te Fiti and Te Kā. The day version radiates warmth and rebirth, with Moana standing before the lush, restored goddess surrounded by vibrant blooms. The night version, in contrast, depicts the fiery wrath of Te Kā rising from a churning sea as Moana offers back the heart of Te Fiti. The two pieces work beautifully together, capturing the mythic scale and emotional arc of the film.
Also included are new additions from Pixar’s Cars franchise. Harman’s take on Cars 2 plunges us into the neon-lit intensity of the World Grand Prix, where Lightning McQueen is framed by a glow of electric color and digital dazzle. The Cars 3 piece takes us to the racetrack under a canopy of sparks and speed, with Lightning McQueen paying tribute to Doc Hudson with a heartfelt nod to the franchise’s legacy.
Ben Harman’s ability to translate cinematic moments into towering compositions has made his work some of the most instantly recognizable in the AMP scene. All prints are being released by Bottleneck Gallery and will be available May 14th at 12PM EST.
