On Tuesday Bottleneck Gallery and Raid 71 drop shiny paper for Metropolis, the silent film by Fritz Lang, that is considered one of the most influential films of all time and basically created the Sci-fi genre. The artwork from Raid 71 prominently features “Maria” the iconic robot character. For this release the prints are both foil, screen printed versions and both look really good. The allocations are a bit smaller then usual so if interested in picking one up be on time to the drop later today. In addition, BNG will also be releasing an allotment of Laurent Durieux’s recent Chinatown release that was done with The Parallax Poster Company back in March. Unfortunately their prints were damaged in transit and as such they are selling the regular version at a discounted price. So if a little dinged up artwork doesn’t bother you, then this is your chance to grab some discounted Durieux artwork. These are on sale today at 12PM EST on the BNG website.
