La Boca’s latest masterpiece is here, and it’s a stunning tribute to Fritz Lang’s sci-fi classic Metropolis! Released by Dark City Gallery, this alternative movie poster showcases La Boca‘s signature geometric style, and it’s nothing short of mesmerizing. With bold lines, sharp angles, and a striking color palette of deep oranges, blacks, and silvers and gold, the artwork captures the spirit of the 1927 film while adding a contemporary, Art Deco-inspired twist. The split face design of the poster masterfully contrasts the human side with the robotic Maria, reflecting the central conflict between man and machine in Lang’s dystopian vision.
