This afternoon, Apollo Gallery is back with fresh alternative movie poster artwork from “First Blood” and “Carnival of Souls”. First up Tony Stella provides the goods for “First Blood” which was our introduction to John Rambo played by Sylvester Stallone. Stella‘s artwork looks spot on and the likenesses are top-notch. The poster prominently features Stallone as his character, John Rambo, in the center, holding a large machine gun. The background has a mix of red, orange, and dark tones, creating a dramatic and intense atmosphere. In a bit of a reverse, the foreign language version will be the regular and the standard American title and credits will be the variant.
In addition to the Rambo drop, we get artwork from Liz Shumska from the film, “Carnival of Souls“, the 1962 horror, mystery directed by Herk Harvey. The artwork is eerie and surreal, capturing the essence of the horror genre and the film’s unsettling atmosphere with a vintage, retro look. This one will drop in a regular and variant edition as well, with the regular being the black-and-white version. These drop today at 12PM EST via Apollo Gallery.
