Fresh off of their fantastic Dune x 3 drop last week (did you see those prints?!?), Mondo is back with new posters from Hammer Films in their ongoing Hammer Horror Series. Hammer Films was founded in 1934 and was known for producing Horror films in Britain. After acquiring licensing from Universal for their different monsters, they began making films and sequels there after. For this release Mondo is tapping two of Hammer’s more iconic classic horror films. The first of two poster drops is from, Dracula: Prince of Darkness by J.S. Rossbach. This is our first introduction to Jean-Sébastien Rossbach’s work and are blown away by his work paintings. I can see why Mondo chose Rossbach for this commission. This kind of classic film needs a classic art style to bring out old timey vides these older films give off. Dracula: Prince of Darkness is a 24″ x 36″ print that will have an edition of 245 and cost $60.
Mondo’s other horror offering is from another Hammer film, The Devil Rides Out by Robert Sammelin. The Devil Rides Out is based on the 1934 novel by Dennis Wheatley. GoodReads has one of the better synopsis of the novel…
Black Magic is still practiced in all the great cities of the world. This novel tells with macabre detail of a beautiful woman caught in a web of Satanists, of a young man brought to the verge of madness through his dabbling with the powers of evil.

Sammelin does a superb job capturing the mood and key elements of the film, with this classic 60’s poster style. This print is 36″ x 24″ and will have an edition of 220. It will cost $60. These two horror prints go on sale tomorrow at 12PM EST on Mondo’s Drop.
