Bottleneck Gallery is back with a large slate of releases, spanning horror, fantasy, and literary classic adaptations. Aaron Conley channels vintage comic book energy for Creepshow, filling the frame with lurid color and manic detail that pays tribute to both George Romero and Stephen King’s anthology film and the EC horror comics that inspired it. Andy Fairhurst returns to the Lord of the Rings with three new pieces from The Two Towers. The long-format designs capture key moments from the film: Gandalf leading the charge at Helm’s Deep, Treebeard and the Ents marching on Isengard, and Frodo staring down the looming threat of Minas Morgul. Rounding out the release, Mark Chilcott contributes three pieces based on Richard Adams’ Watership Down. Gorgeous skies, colorful landscapes, and Chilcott’s knack for natural light highlight the rabbits’ journey with a mix of serenity and foreboding, reflecting the novel’s themes. All prints are available today via Bottleneck Gallery at 12PM ET with full details below.
