Mondo is going full Crane kick today with a dual Cobra Kai poster and vinyl soundtrack release. The Netflix series has increased in popularity with the subsequent release of each new season. The poster by Matt Ryan Tobin, looks awesome and depicts the ongoing dramas between Daniel Larusso and Johnny Lawrence. The print comes in an edition size of 175 and is the standard 24″ x 36″ size. With that edition size they won’t last long.
Not to be outdone, the vinyl is a behemoth of a release. To start with, it comes with 3 separate vinyl discs, each with it’s own amazing cover art, all 3 are strikingly beautiful. In addition, the Mondo Exclusive release comes with a bonus cassette tape. Props to all those involved in the creation of this set, it is really badass.
All of the Cobra Kia swag goes on sale this afternoon at 1PM EST. It looks like the vinyl will release on Mondo’s new record shop, while the poster will be on the Drop. Interestingly enough, the Drop shows the next release to be tomorrow, not today (EDIT: this has been updated and the Drop now shows correctly). Best of luck getting these, the Drops, have not gone super smoothly as of late. Bring back the random drops Mondo!
