Catwoman by Robert Laskey & Fortress of Solitude by Andy Fairhurst

Tuesday we get some DC Comics inspired releases from Bottleneck Gallery, Robert Laskey and Andy Fairhurst. Last time we saw Robert Laskey around these parts he was dropping some great looking What We Do In Shadows artwork for Mondo. Laskey creates some great looking, life-like pieces that are usually horror inspired, but for this release of the Catwoman for BNG he has stepped into the Superhero realm. Some really great details in this artwork, like the stitching and ripples in her suit and textures in the concrete ledge she is perched upon. These will drop as an impressive 11 color screen print as well as two acrylic panels. The other DC Comics related artwork is from Andy Fairhurst and is of Superman’s Fortress of Solitude. The FoS is Superman’s home away from home and while it is usually located in the Arctic, recent iterations of the franchise have placed it in other locations. Fairhurst’s print no doubt went with the traditional location and shows some good scale. We like the look of the small scale Superman against the Arctic background. These will drop at 12PM ET on the BNG website along side Laskey’s Catwoman artwork.
