This afternoon Adam Spizak and Bottleneck Gallery give us 10 eras of Batman. Spizak’s Crusader Collection zeroes in on the most iconic part of Batman’s suit, the chest, and uses it as a visual timeline of Batman’s cinematic evolution. From rubber and leather to tactical armor and modern plating, each piece captures the personality, tone, and philosophy of its respective film. Spizak has done a wonderful job rendering these in fantastic detail. It’s so cool to see how a single image and logo can be reimagined over and over, but still remain unmistakably Batman. These will be grouped and sold by era so if there is one you are particularly fond of, this pickup should be a no brainer. If you are a huge fan of Batman like we are, the choice becomes tougher and potentially very expensive and we are surprised BNG is not selling complete sets.
