This week, Mondo takes us back… to the future with new artwork from Back to the Future and Back to the Future Part II. In fact they are doing a whole slew of releases including t-shirts and pins too. The first set of prints are from the original BTTF film and come to us from Rafa Orrico. Orrico last drop from Mondo was the fantastic Antichrist, from Mondo’s IFC Films anniversary releases. His new works look excellent as well. His artwork will be released in two 18″ x 24″ versions, with slightly different artwork. The regular version will have an edition of 195 and will cost $50. The variant will have an edition of 95 and cost $65. These will be printed by D&L Screen Printing.
The other poster release comes from Adam Simpson. Simpson’s work is well-known and his clients include some of the biggest companies in the world. His style is unique and his work invokes much thought as there are many different elements throughout his pieces. His latest offerings from Mondo, is from Back to the Future Part II. Following up on his Back to the Future print from last year, Simpson returns with another print, showcasing many of the key scenes from the film. It’s really incredible the amount of detail that is included in these prints. The new 36″ x 24″ piece will be released in two versions. The regular version will have an edition of 225 and cost $50. The more limited variant will have an edition of 100 and cost $75. These prints will be printed by Lady Lazarus. Both prints go on sale tomorrow, Tuesday, November 23rd along with the other BTTF goods on the Drop.
