This afternoon BNG tackles some classic cinema and drops artwork for the anime icon Akira and the sci-fi epic 2001: A Space Odyssey. Andrew Roland has been creating these landscape inspired pieces for some time now and provides the Akira artwork. Rowland brings Akira’s chaos to life with stunning detail and explosive energy while also incorporating some key locations from the film. These are dropping in both regular and foil giclée prints. It has been some time since we have seen new work from BNG and Kristin Miklos, but we absolutely love what she has done for 2001. Putting the early hominid in the space helmet does a phenomenal job showing the films evolutionary arc from primitive man to spacefaring human. These will also drop as regular and foil giclée prints. All this wonderful artwork will be on sale today at 12PM ET on the Bottleneck Gallery website.
