Wednesday Mondo takes us back to the days of Music Television with poster drops of some of MTV’s most popular shows during the height of it’s popularity, featuring Daria and Beavis and Butthead. The Daria artwork comes to us from Pam Wishbow. For those who aren’t familiar with the show, it featured Daria Morgendorffer as she navigated the trivial, superficial, and often ridiculous aspects of high school life, her suburban family, and American consumer culture. The artwork nails the look of the show. Daria’s character actually originated from the other show getting a poster drop from Mondo, Beavis and Butthead, with artwork from Kensausage. Beavis and Butthead was recently thrust back into our consciousness this past weekend with a hilarious SNL sketch featuring Mikey Day and Ryan Gosling. The artwork by Kensausage is a great fit for Beavis and Butthead and looks fantastic. These prints drop this afternoon at 1PM EST on Mondo’s website, costs and edition sizes are below.
